List of Ingredients




1 (7-ounce) can tuna in water, reserving 1/4 cup of tuna water

2 slices low fat or non-fat American cheese

2 tablespoons diet margarine

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 cup skim or non-fat milk

1/4 cup water

1 level tablespoon bread crumbs

Recipe



Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread tuna in small nonstick casserole dish and add half the cheese. In saucepan, melt diet margarine; add flour, tuna juice and stir until smooth and thick. Slowly blend in milk and water. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Add to casserole. Top with crumbs mixed with melted margarine. Add remaining cheese. Bake until casserole is bubbly and cheese is lightly browned. Cool and serve at room temperature. Serves 2-4, depending on size of pets.
