2-4 cups vegetable broth
1 teaspoon ginger
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Plum Sauce
Sesame/soy sauce Thinly sliced mixed vegetables: broccoli, chinese cabbage, spinach, mushrooms, onions, snow peas, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, celery or any quick-cooking vegetable or vegetable mixture.Recipe
Make up vegetable broth as directed, add ginger (to taste) and soy sauce. Bring stock to boiling point, then add vegetables all at once. Boil for two minutes and serve as follows: with strainer, remove vegetables from broth onto plates. Dip vegetables into either Plum sauce or Sesame/soy sauce. After eating vegetables, pour broth into cups and drink "mandarin" fashion.
