ESPN ZONE PORK CHOP GLAZE

6 ounces Jack Daniel's whiskey
2 quarts pure maple syrup
1 ounce Kitchen Bouquet sauce
1 quart olive oil
Pork chops
Recipe
Place whiskey in 4-quart heavy-gauge saucepan. Averting face and hair, ignite alcohol with long match. Allow to burn until flame dies.*
Once flames have subsided, add maple syrup and Kitchen Bouquet. Simmer on low heat 5 minutes.
Remove pot from heat; slowly whisk in oil. Allow glaze to cool to room temperature.
In separate bowl, add pork chops and marinate with glaze. Cover bowl and refrigerate at least 4 hours before cooking.
*Cook's note: Ingebretsen says if you don't mind the alcohol you don't have to burn it off, so you can skip the first step.
Marinates up to 5 lbs of meat.
