Recipe
Brown the steak with a little shortening until imedium. Add chili seasoning, and cook for 5 minutes. Add beans, tomatoes, spices, onions, chili peppers, sugar, chili powder, and/or chili con carne seasoning.
Taste. (If chili is too hot, add 1 or 2 cans tomatoes.) Add tomatoe paste. If chili seems too thick, add water. Simmer on low for 20 minutes. Serve wtih soda crackers and soda. This chili will be better tomorrow than today if properly taken care of overnight. I have also been known to substitute things, such as snake meat, for the steak.
