    4 (1 in thick) boneless pork loin chops trimmed of fat
    1 clove garlic halved lenthwise
    pinch of dried sage leaves crumbled
    2 tablespoon unsalted butter or margarine
    1/2 teaspoon tabasco brand pepper sauce
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 medium cooking apple unpeeled and sliced
    1/3 cup bourbon or apple cider

    pat pork chops dry rub each on both sides with cut sides of garlic and
    sprinkle with sage melt butter in a large skillet over medium hih heat add
    tabasco
    sauce and when butter sizzles add pork chops cook 12 to 14 mintues turning
    once or until chops are
    golden brown on both sides and cooked through remove from pan sprinle with
    lemon juice and keep warm. add onion to skillet and cook over medium heat for 1
    minute stir in apple and cook for 1 mintue add bourbon and cook 1 mintue
    longer stirring often spoon sauce over pork chop and serve makes 4 serving
