Ned Jarrets Shrimp Crab Casserole

1/8 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups milk divided
1/3 cup pasteurized cheese sauce
1/2 pound medium shrimp cooked peeled and deveined (about11/4 cups)
1/4 pound crabmeat (about 3/4 cups)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
hot cooked rice (optional)Recipe
preheat oven to 350
in a small bowl combine flour pepper and 1/4 cup of milk beat with a whisk or
fork until smooth ans set aside pour remaining milk into top of double
boiler and place over simmering water on medium high heat add cheese sauce and
heat until melted
stir in tabasco sauce and flour mixture cook and stir smooyh and thickened
about 5 mintues
remove from heat and gently stir in shrimp and crabmeat pour into a shallow
2 quart baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top bake 15 to 20 mintues or until
cheese is melted serve over hot rice if desired makes 6 to 8 serving
