Spaghetti Sauce & Meatballs

List of Ingredients
Sauce ingredients
¼ cup olive oil
½ cup onion, chopped
½ green pepper, chopped
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato puree
4 Italian sausages, chopped
2 tsp. Dried oregano
1 tsp. Dried basil
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Dried parsley
2 ½ Tbsp. Sugar
½ tsp. Garlic, minced
Meatballs:
1 lb. Hamburger
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
¼ cup minced onion
1 egg
¼ cup milk
¼ cup ketchup
½ cup breadcrumbs
salt and pepper
Recipe
Spaghetti sauce:
Put olive oil in a sauce pan, add Italian sausage and brown.
In a food processor, combine tomatoes, green pepper and onion and chop. Add to sausage in sauce pan.
Add tomato puree, oregano, basil, salt, parsley, sugar & garlic. Add meatballs.
Simmer for 2 hours and turn off heat. Let sit all day
Meatballs:
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
Roll combination into golf-ball sized meatballs
Transfer to a skillet and brown on all sides
Add to spaghetti sauce and let simmer with sauce
Serve over spaghetti and enjoy!
