    List of Ingredients




    2 lbs ground beef
    4 cups chicken broth
    7 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 1/2 cups chopped onion
    1 (31 oz) can tomatoes in tomato puree
    1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
    12 oz water
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    3/4 cup chopped celery
    2 (4 oz) cans green chilies
    1 1/2 tsp oregano
    1 1/2 tsp cumin
    1 1/2 tsp black pepper
    3 1/2 Tbsp chili pepper
    1/2 tsp thyme
    1/4 cup Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce (or may substitute Spicy Hot)
    2 (16 oz) cans red beans

    Brown meat in 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Drain. Add meat to chicken broth in 8 quart kettle. Saute garlic and onion until limp in remaining meat drippings, then add to the meat and broth mixture. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Chill in refrigerator for 24 hours to blend flavors. Reheat (remove any solid fat before reheating for a low cholesterol, low calorie chili). Place pasta, cheese, and onions in bowls on the table. Each person can season the chili to taste.
