C.J.'s Venison Chili

List of Ingredients
1-2 lbs. ground venison
1-2 lbs. ground beef
1-2 lbs. ground pork
3 cups picante sauce
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (your taste preference)
1 Tbs. chili powder (or more if you like it hot)
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. cilantro
3 cans pinto beans (optional)
oil as needed
water as neededRecipe
In a large Dutch oven brown the pork, then remove to a large bowl or pan. Next brown the beef and remove to the pan of pork. Next brown the ground venison adding oil as necessary, then add the pork and beef back into the Dutch oven with the venison. Mix all the rest of the ingredients in, add water to cover well. Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer for 4-5 hrs. Stirring occasionally and adding water as needed. If you prefer more onion or garlic add extra.
