    Plum tomatoes, cut in half3 pounds
    Celery 4 stalks
    Onions, cut into slices 2
    Olive oil 1/4 cup
    Olive oil 4 tablespoons
    Sirloin steak, diced 1/4 inch 1 pound
    Pork loin, diced 1/4 inch 1 pound
    Cumin 2 teaspoons
    Chili powder 2 teaspoons
    Garlic, minced 2 teaspoons
    Beer 1 bottle
    Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 cup
    Onion, chopped 1/2 cup

    Recipe



    1. Prepare a grill medium hot.

    2. Brush the tomatoes, celery, onions and jalapeño with olive oil. Grill until charred but not burned.

    3. Place the vegetables in a processor and puree and set aside.

    4. Heat the oil in a large pot over the grill and when hot brown the meat. When well browned add the spices and cook for a few minutes.

    5. Add the pureed vegetable mixture and let simmer adding the beer for 1 hour until the meat is tender and cooked.

    6. Place the chili in a large bowl and top with cheddar and onions. Serve at once.
