    4 tablespoons olive oil
    2 cups chopped onion
    4 garlic cloves chopped fine
    1 green bell peppers, chopped coarse
    2 carrots, chopped
    2 large celery stalks, chopped
    1 ½ pounds ground turkey
    3 tablespoons chili powder
    1 tablespoon ground cumin
    1 teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    2 teaspoons dried oregano
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    2 tablespoons sugar
    3 teaspoons salt
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 14 1/2-ounce can stewed tomatoes
    1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
    1 4-ounce can peeled green chiles, finely chopped
    1 6-ounce can tomato paste
    1 14 1/2-ounce can chicken broth
    1 15-ounce can black beans, drained
    1 15-ounce can kidney beans, drained
    1 15-ounce can pinto beans, drained
    1 12-ounce can whole kernel corn, drained

    Garnish:
    sour cream
    grated Cheddar cheese
    1 cup green onions, chopped
    1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

    Recipe



    Heat oil in heavy large pot over medium-high heat.
    Add onions, garlic, green bell pepper, carrots, and celery and sauté until vegetables begin to soften, about 8 minutes.
    Add ground turkey; sauté until brown, breaking up with back of fork, about 5 minutes.
    Add chili powder, cumin, red pepper flakes, cinnamon, black pepper, oregano, cayenne pepper, sugar, salt, and paprika.
    Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, green chiles, tomato paste, and broth; bring to boil. Stir until well blended.
    Mix in beans and corn. Bring mixture to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer chili until thickened, stirring frequently, about 30 minutes.
    Garnish with sour cream, cheese, green onions and cilantro if desired.

    Makes MANY servings.
