List of Ingredients
1 yellow onion
5 lbs. ground beef
2 lbs. black beans
1 green pepper
2 TBSP salt
2 TBSP chili powder
1 TBSP garlic powder
1 TBSP onion powder
1 TBSP crushed red pepper
2 1/2 quarts of water
Recipe
Thaw ground beef. Chop green pepper and onion into small bite sized pieces. Pour chopped onion into pan and sauté in butter or oil until the color begins to change.
After 3-5 minutes add the five pounds of thawed ground beef. Cook until half done... approximately 10 minutes. Add the remaining spices and green pepper until thoroughly mixed. Add the water last and cook for approximately 30 minutes. For deeper flavor or a thicker chili you can cook it at a lower temperature for a longer amount of time. Pour into dishes and serve.
