Hot But Not Too Hot Chili

List of Ingredients
one pound of ground hamburger cooked in pan
one pound of mild sausage cooked in pan
two onions diced
one green pepper diced
one stalk of celery diced very small
two ounces of jalopeno slices diced
one can of light red kidney beans
one can of dark red kidney beans
one can of pinto beans
one can of PINK beans
one can of diced tomatoes
1/2 - 3/4 cup of brown sugar
6 tbs of texas pete hot sauce
4 tbs of crushed red pepper
2 tsp of ground cloves
1 tbs of basil
4 tbs of parsley
1 tbs of celery seed
6 tbs of minced dried garlicRecipe
after meat has been cooked mix all ingrediants in crockpot 5qt or bigger and let simmer for 5-7 hours stiring occassionally
taste pierodically and add more crushed red pepper to your taste
the brown sugar is to allow you to have some spice with out it tasting very bitter but dont get carried away with the hot spices or sauce,,,chili that is too spicy just doesnt taste that good,,,follow my recipe and it will
