1/4 oz. chili peppers
(calente)
1 lb. hot Italian sausage
3 cans whole tomatoes
1 can paste
1 lb. ground beef
3 cloves garlic, diced and
crushed
3 oz. red wine
1 can chili beans (optional)
2 medium sized onions, diced
3 green peppers, diced
extra virgin olive oil
1/4 c. diced olives
1/4 c. pimiento
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
Recipe
Stir-fry diced vegetables in olive oil. Brown sausage
and ground beef. Mash whole tomatoes with paste. Thicken to
desired consistency. Add red wine and chili beans, if desired.
Add 1/4 ounce chili peppers to tomato sauce. Sprinkle liberal-
ly with cayenne pepper. Drain meat and dump in chili. Drain
vegetables. Mix it up and let it cook for many hours.
