3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
1 1/2 soup cans water
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
Oil, for cooking
3 (15 1/2 oz.) cans red kidney beans
3 tbsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. garlic salt

In large pan combine tomato sauce, soup and water. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Meanwhile, cook beef and onion in small amount of oil until meat is browned; stir to crumble meat.
Drain beans. Add beans, meat, chili powder, garlic salt, salt and pepper (to taste) to tomato sauce. Simmer 30 minutes or longer. Freezes well.
