1 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 each eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup pecan pieces -- optional
1 bag of 55 Rolo Candies
granulated sugar -- for dusting
Recipe
Make sure you've got enough Rolos.
Unwrap Rolo candies.
Cream together margarine, sugars; mix in vanilla and eggs. Mix in dry ingredients and nuts, if using. Dough is sticky.
Freeze dough for about 2 hours!
Wrap about 1 tablespoon dough around a Rolo and roll in granulated sugar.
Place on cookie sheet and bake at 375° for 7-10 minutes. Cookies will flatten. Yield: About 55 cookies.
