    1 (2-lb.) round steak, cut into strips
    2 stalks celery, sliced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3 carrots, cut into strips
    1 green bell pepper, sliced
    11/2 cups barbecue sauce
    2 medium white potatoes
    1 medium sweet potato
    2 slices Swiss cheese, cut into strips (optional)

    1. Put steak, celery, onion, carrots and bell pepper into slow cooker. Pour barbecue sauce over all. Cook in the slow cooker on Low for 6 to 8 hours.

    2. Bake white and sweet potatoes in the oven or microwave before slow cooker mixture is done and slice into 1-inch thick rounds. To bake sweet potatoes and white potatoes, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place unpeeled potatoes on a baking pan and bake for 1 to 11/2 hours until tender.

    3. Spoon round steak mixture on a platter and alternate sweet and white potato rounds around meat. Garnish with cheese.

    Serves 4.
