List of Ingredients




2 cups milk

2 cups heavy cream

2 eggs, beaten

1 ¼ cups of sugar

¼ tsp. salt

1 cup of bananas, pureed

½ tsp. vanilla extract

1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Recipe



In a saucepan, combine the milk, cream, eggs, sugar and salt. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Refrigerate until cool. Combine the cooled custard with the bananas, vanilla and nutmeg. Transfer the mixture to an ice-cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Makes one quart.
