    1 c Vanilla wafers, finely crushed
    1 c Icing sugar
    1 1/2 c Walnuts, chopped
    2 tb Corn syrup
    3 tb Evaporated milk
    1 tb Rum flavoring
    1/2 c Icing sugar
    Maraschino cherries, quartered

    Recipe



    Combine the first 7 ingredients; mix well. Shape into balls 1 inch diameter. Roll in icing sugar. Press 1/4 maraschino cherry into surface of each ball. Keep in tightly covered container in refrigerator. These improve with storage. Approx. yield: 2 1/2 dozen
