1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup bourbon
1/2 cup waterRecipe
In a small, heavy-bottomed saucepan over high heat, bring the butter, brown sugar, bourbon, and water to a boil. Boil until the mixture is smooth and syrupy, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes. Serve immediately. (If you don't serve immediately, the sauce will separate but will still taste great.)
