List of Ingredients
1 cup stout (any style and brand will do)
1 cup whole milk
2 cups cream
2 ozs glucose syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup egg yolks
Recipe
Bring beer, milk, cream, glucose, and sugar to a boil. Drizzle in the egg yolks while whisking hard. Heat this mixture to 185 degrees F, stir constanly. Pour into a seive and chill in an ice bath. When ice cream base is cold, put in a conventional ice cream machine until done.
