    List of Ingredients




    Wooden Skewers (soaked in cold water)
    2 - lbs. Boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts (cleaned and cut up in 1 1/2 in. cubes)
    1/2 Onion (finely minced)
    1 1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
    1 tsp Minced Ginger
    1/2 to 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper (ground)
    1 tsp Garan Masala (available at Indian Grocery Stores)
    2 tsp Corriander Powder
    1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
    1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
    1 tsp Salt or to taste
    2 Tbs Plain Yogurt
    1 Tbs Brown Sugar
    2 Tbs Oil
    2 Tbs Lemon Juice
    Optional:

    Cubes of Vegetables Zuchini, onions, mushrooms, red and green peppers.

    Recipe



    Mix all the ingredients, except the vegetables in a glass bowl. Let marinade for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours in a refrigerator. Thread the chicken on skewers, alternating with vegetables if using. Grill over hot coals till done. Serve with sliced Onion, Tomatoes, and Cucumber and a squeeze of lemon.
