    1/2 lb (200g) Ground pork
    2 Oz (60g) Cheese (cut into tiny pieces)
    1/4 Onion (chopped)
    1/2 Egg
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1/4 tsp Pepper
    2 tsps Soy sauce
    1 tbsp Cornstarch
    1 tbsp Sake
    1 tsp Sugar
    1/2 Green Peas

    Recipe



    1. In a bowl, combine ground pork, chopped onion, salt, egg, pepper, cornstarch, soy sauce, sake, and sugar. Add 2/3 of the cheese to the bowl and mix well.

    2. Place a shumai skin in the palm of your hand. Add 1 tbsp ground port mixture on shumai skin and bend the palm of your hand help wrap the shumai skin around the mixture like a cup cake.

    3. Then flatten the top and place a small piece of cheese and a green pea. Repeat until all ground pork mix is used.

    4. Steam the shumai for 8 minutes or until cooked. Serve with soy sauce or mustard.

    Serves 3.
