    Fuji Ya Sushi Rice with Vinegar Mix

    List of Ingredients




    3 cups of rice - yields 6 cups of cooked rice

    3 cups of hot cooked rice

    9 T rice vinegar
    3 T sugar
    1 T salt
    1 small piece of Konbu (SEAWEED)

    Recipe



    1. in a small sauce pan, warm up vinegar with
    sugar salt and konbu- stir well - but
    DO NOT BOIL

    2. place hot rice in big mixing bowl

    3. Drizzle over warm rice as you stir to cover
    all the grains of rice with vinegar mixture

    3. fan the warm rice to a cooler 90 degrees - about body temp

    4. ready to mold, scoop and roll to make various sushi rolls

    Serves 6 people
