This marinade is also good with pork chops and ribs.
List of Ingredients
1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces
Marinade:
½cup soy sauce
¼cup white vinegar
1 onion, chopped
1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic
½teaspoon black pepper
1 cup waterRecipe
Combine marinade ingredients. Place chicken pieces in dish and pour marinade over them. Refrigerate 24 hours or overnight, turning pieces several times.
Prepare grill. Grill chicken over medium heat until done, basting frequently with the marinade.
Note: To make the Guamanian chicken salad known as kelagunen, finely chop or grind leftover grilled chicken and blend with lemon juice, minced chiles, green onion and salt to taste.
