    "The Garlic Lovers' Cookbook"

    List of Ingredients




    8 cloves garlic -- minced
    2 pounds ground beef -- 33" fat
    1 tablespoon paprika -- Hungarian
    1 tablespoon salt
    1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
    1 tablespoon onion powder
    1 tablespoon dill seed
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil -- or 1 t. dry
    1 teaspoon liquid Barbecue Smoke®
    1 teaspoon coriander seed -- whole
    1 teaspoon pickling spice -- whole
    1 teaspoon mustard

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients and mix well. Shape into 2 logs, each about 10" long. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Uncover and place on a broiler pan and bake in a very slow oven at 225 for 2 hours. Cool before slicing.

    This scrumptious salami, when chilled, resembles a firm pate.

    Yield:
