3 ounces sugar
12 ounces water
2 ounces dark rum
seeds of 1 vanilla bean
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons arrowroot
1 tablespoon waterRecipe
Combine first 5 ingredients; heat to boiling. Reduce
heat; simmer for 1 minute. Combine arrowroot and
water; stir into rum mixture. Heat to boiling; remove
from heat. Let cool.
