Recipe Introduction
Chicken fried with ginger
List of Ingredients
1/3 cup peanut or corn oil
1 tbsp chopped garlic
11 oz boneless skinned chicken breasts, cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
1 oz wood fungus or fresh button mushrooms, sliced
4 spring onions, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 oz onion, sliced
1 oz ginger, cut into small matchsticks
3 fresh red chillies, each sliced into six strips lengthwise
1 tbsp white soya sauce
2 tsp brandy
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt Recipe
Heat the oil in a wok or pan, add the garlic and stirfry, mixing well. Add the chicken, mix well fo rone minute, and then add the mushrooms. Stir for a minute and add all the rest of the ingredients. Stir fry well until the chicken is cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
Serve accompanied by rice
