Princess Kaiulani was the beautiful, British-educated niece of Hawaii's last queen. Robert Louis Stevenson wrote poetry in her honor. Tragically, she died young, at age 23. Today, high-rises fill the site of her Victorian estate in Waikiki; the Princess Kaiulani Hotel is named in her honor.


List of Ingredients




1 (3 pound) chicken, cut into pieces
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 medium onion, sliced
1 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons mustard
2 teaspoons vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce


Recipe



Wash and dry chicken pieces. Place skin-side up in a shallow baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour or until chicken is tender
