    -- 1 ounce miyurk (seaweed)
    -- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
    -- 8 ounces shank or rib eye beef, sliced
    -- 10 cups water
    -- 5 teaspoons black pepper
    -- 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
    -- 2 teaspoons salt
    -- 1 teaspoon sogogi dashida (beef flavored stock)
    -- 4 stalks of green onion, chopped

    Soak miyurk (seaweed) for 5 minutes. Strain miyurk.

    Pour sesame oil in a pot and bring to high heat. Stir fry sliced beef and miyurk rapidly in sesame oil for 20 seconds. Pour 10 cups of water. Add black pepper, garlic, salt, sogogi dashida and green onion. Reduce heat to medium and boil soup for 20 to 30 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
