    List of Ingredients




    1-1/2 pounds ground beef
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 medium potatoes, diced
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    2-1/2 cups water
    1/2 cup shredded coconut meat
    3 tablespoons tomato paste
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    1 stick cinnamon
    1 whole clove
    2 teaspoons salt
    1 teaspoon curry powder
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    1/2 teaspoon cardamom
    3 cups cooked white rice

    Recipe



    1) In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef, potatoes, onions and green
    peppers in the vegetable oil. Cook until beef is brown. Drain fat.
    2) Stir in next set of ingredients (water through cardamom). Heat to boiling.
    Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 30 to 40 minutes until vegetables
    are tender.
    3) Uncover and cook until mixture thickens. Remove cinnamon stick and
    whole clove.
    4) Serve over white rice.
