    Serves 8.

    4 lbs. beef (with chewable bones)

    2 onions, finely sliced

    1 bulb of garlic, sliced

    5 bulbs of ginger, sliced

    1 tsp. coriander (dhania) powder or paste

    1 tsp. cumin (zeera), powder or paste

    3 tbsp. oil (canola for healthy food)

    15 dry chili pepper

    Salt to taste

    Recipe



    Put onions, garlic and ginger in oil and cook until sautéed. Add in dhania, zeera and beef. Stir well and let it cook for 20 min until the beef is tender. Do not ad any extra water. Add in dry chili peppers and stir the beef several times until the oil separates from the masala. When the beef is tender enough and gravy is thickened, it is ready to serve.

    It can be served with white rice and masoor daal. It can also be served with paratha.
