    1 pound beef cut of choice, sliced 3 inches long and 1/4-inch thick

    4 cloves garlic, minced

    6 tablespoons naturally brewed soy sauce

    6 tablespoons vinegar

    1 teaspoon salt

    1 teaspoon pepper

    Sugar, to taste

    1 teaspoon oil

    Steamed white rice

    Fried eggs

    n deep dish, thoroughly combine beef, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Marinate covered at least 24 hours. In oiled pan over medium heat, pan-fry marinated beef to desired doneness. To serve, arrange steamed rice, two fried eggs and 1/4 portion cooked beef separately on plate. Repeat for three remaining plates.

    Serves 4.
