Kitchen tips
Broiled fish can be as complicated or as simple as you want to make it. It also is a healthy way to enjoy fish versus baking or frying. Here are a few tips for enjoying a truly succulent broiled fish.
Be sure grill grates are clean and well oiled. Or, you may oil the skin of the fish if you prefer. This is done to prevent sticking.
If the fish should begin to stick, you may slide aluminum foil under the fish.
Fish may be cooked entirely on the skin, but grill marks make for a good presentation when you serve the dish.
If possible, choose fresh fish as opposed to frozen to ensure the best quality and taste.
Many flavored butters and sauces pair well with fish, besides the one used in this recipe for Broiled Rainbow Trout. Tarragon butter or béarnaise sauce both are excellent choices with broiled fish.
Finally, just be creative and have fun in the process!
