Seared Barbecue Shrimp

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lb. shrimp
1 tsp. olive oil
3 tsp. hoisin sauce
3/4 tsp. minced garlic
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/4 tsp. cracked peppercorn
1 tbs. chopped scallion white part only

# Preheat oven to 450° F and place a pizza stone on the grill.
# Combine the shrimp with the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator.
# Using oven mitts, center the preheated slate or stone on a trivet or concrete surface.
# Remove the shrimp from the marinade and distribute them evenly on the cooking surface.
# Sear for about 2 minutes, turn, and cook 2 minutes more. The shrimp should be well-colored and just cooked through.
# Serve.
