    1/2 CUP FLOUR
    2 TBSP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
    1 TSP SEASONING SALT
    1 1/2 TSP PEPPER
    2 LBS VENISON STEAK
    1 16OZ CAN STEWED TOMATOES
    1/2 TO 1 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS
    1/2 TO 1 CUP CHOPPED GREEN PEPPER
    1 16OZ CAN MUSHROOMS
    1/4 TSP BASIL
    1/4 TSP PARSLEY
    1/4 TSP GARLIC SALT
    8 OZ SHREDDED MOZZARELLA CHEESE

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350.

    Mix flour, salt and pepper.

    Melt butter in frying pan.
    Dip steaks in flour mix and brown.

    Place meat in casserole dish.

    Layer the tomatoes, onions, green pepper and mushrooms over the venison.

    Mix seasonings together and sprinkle over top.

    Cover and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender.

    Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese over the top.

    Cook uncovered for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
