List of Ingredients
2 oz. of UNICO olive oil
12 Nova Scotia scallops
2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
6 Squid
18 Jumbo shrimps
1 green jalapeno
1 oz. of red wine
1cup of chopped Spanish onion
28 oz. of canned UNICO plum tomato
24 PEI mussels
10 oz. of UNICO canned baby clams
900g pack of UNICO spaghetti
15 leaves of fresh basilRecipe
PREPARATION: Roast onion and garlic until golden with olive oil. Add mussels, scallops, squid and shrimp. Then add jalapenos and red wine. Let simmer for 2 minutes and then hand squeeze peeled tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes with lid on. Then add baby clams. Cook for 1 minute and mix with spaghetti al dente. Before serving, drizzle with olive oil and chop in fresh basil.
TIPS:
Save your shrimp shells and use them for a soup base
Be careful not to overcook mussels - they'll go tough
