List of Ingredients
* 12 lean pork spare ribs
* 4 x 15ml/4 tbsp light soy sauce
* 2 x 15ml/2 tbsp lime or orange juice
* 2 x 5ml/2 tbsp Tate & Lyle Dark Brown Soft Cane Sugar
* 1 x 2.5ml/0.5 tsp five spice powder
* 2 x 15ml/2 tbsp vegetable oil
* 2 x 15ml/2 tbsp brown sauce

* Large oven potato chips

Trim any excess fat or gristle from the ribs and place into a large, thick and clean polythene bag. In a screw top jar put all the remaining ingredients and place the lid on tightly. Shake the ingredients then pour over the ribs. Shake in the bag. Twist and seal the top and leave in the fridge for 2 hours. (Lyle: You need a grown-up to help for this bit!) Preheat the grill for 5 minutes, then reduce the heat. Remove the grill pan and place the ribs carefully onto it. Cook for 8-9 minutes on each side using tongs to turn. During cooking, brush with any remaining sauce. Serve with large potato chips and salad, if liked.
