List of Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/4 cup frozen chopped onion
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instant mashed potatoes (enough for 4 servings)
Ketchup and mustard (in squirt bottles, if possible)
Recipe
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
With a fork, mix beef, onion, 1/4 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt, soy sauce and pepper in a bowl.
Place beef mixture in an ungreased pie pan and shape into a mound (like a cake).
Bake 45 minutes.
Five minutes before the hamburger is done, prepare the instant mashed potatoes.
Remove hamburger from the oven. Remember to use oven mitts when removing pan from oven. Carefully lift to a platter with a pancake turner.
Frost with mashed potatoes using a straight-edged spatula.
Decorate the top with ketchup and mustard.
Serves 4.
