1 teaspoon butter
2 tablespoons finely grated carrot
1/2 cup (about 4 ounces) minced, boneless, skinless chicken breast (raw)
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons powdered formula or baby cereal
Water, as necessary to thinRecipe
Heat small skillet over medium heat. Add butter, carrot and chicken. Stir constantly until chicken is cooked through, about 3 minutes. Add broth and bring to a hearty simmer. Remove from heat and whisk in powdered formula or cereal. Place in a blender and purée. Transfer to a bowl. Stir occasionally and allow to stand at room temperature until lukewarm. Add water to thin, if needed.
Number of servings depends on child's appetite.
