Brown Sugar Bacon Glaze

Karo Syrup

1 cup Karo® Corn Syrup with real Brown Sugar
5 strips raw smoked bacon
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Recipe
Stir bacon and onion in small saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Add Karo® and soy sauce; bring to low boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature.
Remove bacon strips; use glaze to brush on turkey every 30-45 minutes during roasting.
After glazing it is important to cover the turkey with loosely tented foil.
Arrange bacon strips on top of turkey during last 10 minutes of roasting.
Microwave Instructions: Place bacon and onion in microwave safe container. Heat on high for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; stir well then heat for 2 more minutes. Cool to room temperature.
Makes 1 cup.
