List of Ingredients
2 New York strip steaks
2 cloves garlic, minced fine
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 C. maple syrup, the real thing ONLY
Recipe
Mix the garlic, salt and pepper and maple syrup together. Pour over the steaks, cover and refrigerate. Marinate overnight, turning about half way through the process. Marinating overnight is fine, but 2 to 3 days is even better. Grill on a hot fire, spreading some of the leftover marinade on the steaks as you cook them.
Serves 2.
HINTS:
Try this on any cut of steak; rib eye, filet mignon, t-bone or porterhouse. This is also quite good on a pork chop.
