    VH Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    2 Tbsp. (30 mL) vegetable oil
    1/3 lb. (140 g) beef cut into small cubes
    1/3 lb. (140 g) chicken breast cut into strips
    5 strips minced bacon
    2 cups (500 mL) sliced vegetables (peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, carrots, celery, mushrooms, snow peas, etc., fresh or frozen, thawed & drained).
    1 cup (250 mL) VH® Sweet'n Sour Sauce
    3 Tbsp. (45 mL) VH® Soya Sauce

    In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tbsp. (30mL) of vegetable oil on high and brown 1/3 lb. (150 g) of beef and 1/3 lb. (150 g) of chicken breast.
    Once the meat is browned, add 2 cups (500 mL) of sliced vegetables. Continue to cook until the vegetables are tender.
    Pour in the skillet 1 cup (250 mL) of VH® Sweet'n Sour Spare-Rib Sauce and 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) of VH® Soya Sauce.
    Serve with rice.

    Tip: This particular recipe calls for 3 types of meat, however, you can choose to prepare it using only chicken or beef. Another variation would be to substitute the bacon with a few uncooked shrimp.

    Serves 2.
