    2 lb lean ground beef 1 kg
    1 1/2 cups finely shredded cabbage (1/4 small head) 625 mL
    1 small onion, chopped 1
    1 egg, beaten 1
    1 1/2 cups dry bread crumbs, divided 375 mL
    1/2 cup milk 125 mL
    4 tsp Worcestershire sauce 20 mL
    1 tsp dry mustard 5 mL
    1/2 tsp Each: dried marjoram, salt 2 mL
    1/4 tsp pepper 1 mL
    1/2 cup small Ontario Greenhouse Tomatoes, diced 125 mL
    2 Tbsp melted butter 25 mL
    2 Tbsp cubed Cheddar Cheese 25 mL

    Recipe



    In large bowl, mix together beef, cabbage, onion, egg, 1 cup (250 mL) bread crumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings; mix well. Stir in cheese; pack firmly into 9 x 5 inch (2 L) loaf pan. Bake in 350 F (180 C) oven for about 1 1/4 hours. Top with tomatoes. In small bowl, stir together remaining bread crumbs and butter. Sprinkle over tomatoes. Bake for 15 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
