2lb country-style back ribs
115ml ketchup
8oz brown sugar
225ml BBQ sauce
115ml vinegar
2oz sugar
1tbsp worcestershire sauce
2tsp paprika
2tsp onion powder
Recipe
Bake ribs at 230C/450F/Gas8 for 20 minutes. Pour off fat. Reduce oven to 150C/300F/Gas2 and cook for a further 30 minutes. Meanwhile, mix all the other ingredients to make the sauce and simmer over a low heat for 30 minutes. Drain ribs and cover with sauce. Cook another hour, basting every 15 minutes.
