    Colorado 'Cajun' Rib Eye Steak

    List of Ingredients




    3-4 28 oz. rib eye steaks
    4-5 sliced onions
    vegetable oil to cover the steaks

    For the Cajun spice rub:

    1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
    1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon ground white pepper
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon thyme
    1 teaspoon basil
    1 teaspoon oregano
    1 teaspoon cumin



    Directions


    Combine spices with the steaks. Perforate steaks. Place in deep pan with onions.
    Pour oil to cover steaks. Cover and marinate for about 48 hours.

    Remove steaks from marinade. Sear steaks on each side for about 1 minute, then cook steaks on lower heat to desired doneness.

    1 cup - flour

    1/2 tsp each - salt, pepper, parsley, paprika, garlic

    powder

    2 tbs each - olive oil & butter

    1 cup - Chapsmacker pepper juice
