    5 oz. diced onion
    3 oz. diced green bell pepper
    4 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes with juice (from canned)
    2 1/2 oz. margarine
    2 lb., 13 oz. lean ground beef
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 Tblsp granular beef seasoning
    1/2 tsp finely ground black pepper
    1 3/4 oz. oatmeal
    1 oz. all-purpose flour
    1 3/4 oz. plain bread crumbs
    2 oz. diced garlic
    2 medium whole eggs
    3/4 oz. Worcestershire sauce
    1 oz. tomato sauce
    5 oz. ketchup

    Recipe



    1. Heat oven to 400 F.

    2. Sauté onions, bell peppers and diced tomatoes in margarine.

    3. In a large bowl, combine meat and the remaining ingredients, except ketchup, by hand. Do not overmix.

    4. Coat loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. Fill pan with mix and use a small amount of water to help smooth out the top.

    5. Make an indentation down the center lengthwise. Fill indentation with ketchup.

    6. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool slightly before serving.

    Recipe note: This recipe was tested in a commercial oven. Oven times can vary if your appliance is not properly calibrated.

    Serves 10.
