    Hawaiian-Style Pu-Pu Ribs

    Pu-Pu Ribs:

    2 racks of natural baby back ribs

    2 cloves of garlic

    ½ of medium-large finger of ginger

    Pinch of salt

    1 cup of sugar

    1 cup of soy sauce

    1 cup of ketchup

    1 tbsp of oyster sauce -- optional

    1 bunch of cilantro -- garnish

    1 bunch of green onion -- garnish

    Recipe



    1. Cut ribs and place in large pot.

    2. Cover with water.

    3. Add slivered garlic.

    4. Add grated ginger.

    5. Add pinch of salt.

    6. Boil. Then, to medium simmer for 45 minutes.

    7. Drain. Toss in sauce evenly coating.

    8. Add to broiler for 3-5 minutes.

    9. Plate and garnish with cilantro and green onion.
