1 8-ounce strip loin steak, hand chopped
Kosher Salt and freshly ground pepper
Olive oil
1 soft bun, halved
4 slices Brie de Monte cheese
1 porcini mushroom, sliced 1/4-inch thick
Recipe
Sprinkle strip loin with salt and pepper. Form into 1-inch thick patty. Brush lightly with olive oil. Place on greased grill over medium-high heat and grill until desired doneness (about 4 minutes per side for rare). Top with cheese.
Brush mushroom with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place on greased grill over medium-high heat and grill until golden. Grill bun until golden.
Place mushroom on bun and top with burger. Top with Truffle Aioli. Makes 1 burger.
TRUFFLE AIOLI
Whisk together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 teaspoons truffle paste or oil, salt and pepper to taste. Makes about 1/2 cup.
