    Source of Recipe

    Win Schulers

    Recipe Introduction

"Schuler's meatballs are tender, not chewy or crispy. To achieve this, use fresh
bread crumbs. Add a couple slices of tender white bread processed in the food
    processor should do the trick."

    List of Ingredients

    1 C. fresh bread crumbs
    1 1/2 C. milk
2 medium onions, peeled and finely chopped
    2 1/2 lb. ground round
    1 1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 large egg
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
    1/4 C. minced fresh flat-leaf parsley

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In large bowl, soak bread crumbs in milk for 10 minutes. Add onions, ground
round, ground pork, egg, salt, pepper and parsley; blend together until
thoroughly combined. Form mixture into walnut-sized balls and arrange them on
large trays or baking sheets. Bake for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.
To finish meatballs: place them in a Dutch oven and cover with Schuler's BBQ
Sauce (see above recipe). Heat over medium heat until sauce and meatballs are
heated through. Makes 3 dozen meatballs.
